It has been announced that
Dick Van Dyke is to receive the
Screen Actors Guild's highest honor,
the Lifetime Achievement Award, news that made me want to twirl the ottoman here
at 148 Bonnie Meadow Road! It's nice to know that in comedy at least, nice guys (and gals) do finish first with public affection.
